Brian Zeglis, Ph.D.

Brian Zeglis received his undergraduate education at Yale University, did his graduate studies at the California Institute of Technology, and worked as a postdoctoral fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Since 2015, Brian has been a Professor of Chemistry at Hunter College of the City University of New York and has had co-appointments in the Departments of Radiology of both Weill Cornell Medical College and MSKCC. The Zeglis Laboratory is dedicated to the design, synthesis, preclinical validation, and clinical translation of radiopharmaceuticals for the Imaging and therapy of disease. Over the past decade, the lab has placed particular emphasis on several areas, including (i) the creation of new bioconjugation strategies; (ii) the development of novel approaches to in vivo pretargeting; and (iii) the validation of radiolabeled antibodies for the theranostic imaging and targeted radiotherapy of cancer.
